In the United States, examples include industry-leading parental leave policies that provide ten weeks of fully paid leave for mothers, as well as paid time off for fathers and adoptive parents. In 2015, the company introduced a new GED Assistance program to help employees in the U.S. earn their high school equivalency diploma. In addition, the company provides 10-day advanced scheduling for hourly Team Members and continues to expand remote workforce opportunities. Globally, Hilton has also been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute in China, Colombia, Italy, The Netherlands,  Peru and the United Arab Emirates in 2016.
